practices in environment, society and governance areas.

We contribute to the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals and are guided by Double Materiality to
achieve both business value and societal impact.

Hyundai GLOVIS Europe is committed to shaping a sustainable future-ready logistics ecosystem. We are honored to be the first Korean logistics company recognized in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World Index, which assesses the sustainability performance of top global corporations. Our leadership also includes being the first Korean logistics firm to endorse the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). We actively contribute to the United Nations Development Goals and support the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), reinforcing our dedication to responsible and transparent sustainable practices.

Hyundai GLOVIS Europe has set the ESG vision and strategy of "Clean Flow, Make Together" to foster sustainability in the areas of environment, society and governance, and is working to internalize sustainable management through the implementation of 11 tasks while fulfilling its responsibility as a Global ESG Leading SCM Provider.

Hyundai GLOVIS Europe has established a Europe-wide Sustainability Executive Committee, which is the highest decision-making Governance body of C-Level Executive Leadership. The Committee is designated to drive ESG from top down for integration into core business by providing Oversight and making decisions on critical ESG in the European region.

A Global Compact for Action

To formalize our commitment, Hyundai GLOVIS Europe is dedicated to upholding the UN Global Compact Ten Principles. The UN Global Compact(UNGC) is an international initiative launched in 2000 by former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to promote corporate social responsibility in Companies. It consists of ten principles across four key areas: Human Rights, Labor, Environment, and Anti-Corruption. Hyundai GLOVIS Europe fully supports the ten principles of the UNGC and is committed to applying them throughout our management practices.

Double Materiality Assessment

Hyundai GLOVIS Europe conducts an annual double materiality assessment that follows a 4-phase process methodology of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards(ESRS) to identify critical sustainability-related issues and links them directly to managerial decision making and establishment of strategic response systems. It evaluates both the impact of the company's business activities on society and the environment(Impact Materiality) and the influence of social and environmental factors on the company's business performance (Financial Materiality).
